When I looked up the biblical meaning behind "Maverick" I got CHILLS at what I found!

"Perhaps Jesus was history's greatest maverick. The Pharisees considered Him a maverick because He would not conform to the traditions of the elders. The Sadducees considered Him a maverick because He would not acknowledge their authority. Pilate considered Him a maverick because He would not defend Himself." 

Googles Dictionary meaning of "Maverick" is, "an unorthodox or independent-minded person." 

YES YES YES!! That's who my Jesus is... he was contrary to what was their "normal" in the world! We are to strive to be like Jesus, reflect Jesus! He was DIFFERENT!
